Argentina Population 2023

Argentina Population 2023

The population of Argentina is very diverse, with people of European, indigenous, and African descent. The majority of the population is of European descent, and there is a significant minority of people with indigenous ancestry. The population of Argentina is also quite young, with a median age of just 31 years.

There are some interesting facts about the population of Argentina. For example, the city of Buenos Aires has more than 2 million people of Italian descent. This is due to the large number of Italians who migrated to Argentina in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. There is also a sizable German community in Argentina, which is reflected in the architecture and culture of some areas of the country.

The population of Argentina has been growing steadily for many years. However, it has recently begun to decline due to economic problems and emigration to other countries. The government is working to improve the economy so that fewer people feel the need to leave Argentina.

As of 2019, the population of Argentina is estimated to be 45.1 million people. This makes it the 32nd most populous country in the world and the third most populous country in Latin America, after Brazil and Mexico. The vast majority of Argentines (92%) live in urban areas, with the capital city of Buenos Aires being home to more than 15 million people.

Argentina has a relatively young population, with a median age of 31.9 years. However, the population is aging slowly due to declining birth rates in recent years. Life expectancy in Argentina is 78 years for men and 84 years for women, which are both above the global average life expectancy of 72 years.
